It is intended for sanding wood and wood-based materials, for example chamfering, sanding edges and end grain or smoothing small workpieces. Wet sanding is not intended.<\/p>\n<p>The 230 V motor with 0.5 kW drives both belt and disc. The 150 \u00d7 1220 mm belt runs at 10 m\/s, and the 230 mm disc at 1400 rpm. The belt sander can be used vertically, horizontally and in intermediate positions. A graphite-coated steel platen under the belt reduces heat build-up, and the rubber-coated drive drum reduces slip.<\/p>\n<p>Belt tracking is adjusted with knurled screws during operation. The work table (190 \u00d7 300 mm) tilts from 0\u00b0 \u2013 45\u00b0 and has preset stops at 90\u00b0 and 45\u00b0.
