With a swing of 318 mm over the bed and 500 mm between centres, it is suitable for medium-sized bowls, boxes and spindle work. The machine is bolted to a workbench or to an optional stand.<\/p>\n<p>A 230 V DC motor with 0.73 kW drives the spindle via a Poly-V belt. The speed is set steplessly with a potentiometer and shown on a digital readout, and three belt steps provide 60 \u2013 900, 110 \u2013 1800 and 220 \u2013 3600 rpm. A switch changes between forward and reverse rotation, for example for sanding.<\/p>\n<p>The extra-wide bed is made of cast iron. Headstock and tailstock have an MT 2 taper, and the M33 \u00d7 3.5 spindle nose accepts common lathe chucks. Spindle lock and 24 \u00d7 15\u00b0 indexing are integrated in the headstock.
