It bends mild steel up to 2.65 mm and stainless steel up to 1.52 mm over a bending length of 1016 mm in a range of 0 \u2013 135\u00b0. The machine has no motor, the bend is made by raising the bending leaf by hand.<\/p>\n<p>The clamping leaf carries removable fingers. Together with a box depth of 63.5 mm this allows pans, boxes, channels, angles and other closed shapes to be formed.<\/p>\n<p>The clamping leaf is closed and opened with a foot pedal (lift up to 47 mm), leaving both hands free for the workpiece and bending leaf. Clamping pressure and set-back are adjusted to the material thickness with adjustment knobs, a crowning adjustment ensures an even bend over the full length and a counterbalance arm assists in lifting the bending leaf.
