A 3 kW (4 HP) three-phase motor drives the belt at 1200 m\/min.<\/p>\n<p>The machine uses 2000 \u00d7 152 mm belts. The contact wheel and the drive and alignment wheel each measure 250 \u00d7 152 mm. Grinding is done on the contact wheel as well as on the front and top work supports, belt tension is released with a lever and tracking is set with an adjuster.<\/p>\n<p>A separate 0.55 kW blower motor extracts the grinding dust into a collection bag, a spark trap and an eye shield are fitted. An emergency stop button switches the machine off.
