A 230 V DC motor with 0.25 kW drives the CBN diamond grinding wheel for HSS at 4400 rpm, and an SDC diamond wheel for carbide drills is available as an option.<\/p>\n<p>The standard grinding range is \u00d8 3 to 26 mm, extended to \u00d8 2.1 to 32 mm with additional collets. Two collet chucks with their own alignment stations cover small and large diameters, with 11 ER20 collets for \u00d8 3 \u2013 13 mm and 13 ER40 collets for \u00d8 14 \u2013 26 mm. The point angle can be set from 95\u00b0 to 135\u00b0 or 85\u00b0 to 140\u00b0.<\/p>\n<p>After the drill has been aligned in the chuck, point angle, lip relief angle and point splitting are ground at separate holders. A drawer stores the collets, and a handle makes the machine easy to move. The machine measures 355 \u00d7 215 \u00d7 300 mm and weighs approx. 34 kg.
