The 400 V three-phase motor with 1.5 kW drives the 27 \u00d7 0.9 \u00d7 3160 mm blade, and the blade speed is set between 20 and 85 m\/min via a frequency inverter and shown on a display.<\/p>\n<p>At 0\u00b0 the cutting capacity is round \u00d8 265 mm, square 260 mm and rectangular 350 \u00d7 220 mm. Mitre cuts are possible up to 60\u00b0 right and 45\u00b0 left. The saw frame is lowered and raised hydraulically, and the descent rate is adjusted to the material with a regulator. After the cut the saw bow returns to its top position automatically.<\/p>\n<p>The hydraulic vise with 355 mm opening closes by up to 8 mm automatically during the cycle and opens again at the end, so identical parts can be reloaded without clamping by hand each time. The cycle is started either from the control panel or with the foot switch. Indicator lights report blade breakage, an open blade cover and motor overload, among others.
