Blade diameter, bore, kerf, plate thickness, clamping flange, rotation direction and permitted speed must match the machine.<\/li>\n<li>Before every use, inspect the plate, bore, clamping faces, expansion slots and teeth for cracks, distortion, corrosion, missing tips or other damage. Do not use damaged, blunt or improperly resharpened blades.<\/li>\n<li>Switch off the machine before fitting, cleaning, adjustment or inspection, disconnect the power supply, secure against restart and wait for a complete stop.<\/li>\n<li>Clean the spindle, flanges and clamping faces. Fit the blade fully in the correct rotation direction without play in reducing rings; use only matching, undamaged flanges and approved reducing rings.<\/li>\n<li>Set the guard, riving knife and other protective devices according to the machine instructions. Never operate without effective guards or with an unsuitable riving knife.<\/li>\n<li>Fully support and securely guide or clamp the workpiece. Do not cut freehand; keep hands out of the cutting line and kickback zone. Feed evenly against the intended cutting direction.<\/li>\n<li>Wear safety glasses or a face shield and hearing protection; use suitable extraction. Do not wear gloves, loose clothing or jewellery, and secure long hair near rotating parts.<\/li>\n<li>Do not side-load, jam or brake the blade or place it on stationary workpieces. Do not set down or open the machine until the blade has stopped completely.<\/li>\n<li>Teeth, cut edges, workpieces and chips may be sharp and hot. Allow them to cool, store the blade protected and secure it against impact and contact during transport.<\/li>\n<li>Clamp metal workpieces securely. Keep sparks, sharp chips and hot offcuts away from the operator, combustible materials and cables; have suitable firefighting equipment available.<\/li>\n<li>Operate dry-cut blades only on expressly suitable low-speed machines.
