Overview
The Baileigh BB-7212 is a hand-operated box and pan brake for sheet metal work in workshops, trades, metal fabrication and training. It bends mild steel up to 2.65 mm and stainless steel up to 1.52 mm over a bending length of 1830 mm in a range of 0 – 135°. The machine has no motor, the bend is made by raising the bending leaf by hand.
The clamping leaf carries 17 removable fingers (6 × 76 / 3 × 102 / 6 × 127 / 2 × 152 mm). Together with a box depth of 152 mm this allows pans, boxes, channels, angles and other closed shapes to be formed. The minimum reverse bend is 16 mm.
An adjustable counterweight assists in raising the bending leaf and is balanced to the material thickness. The clamping leaf with the fingers holds the material in position during bending. An adjustable stop gauge allows repeat bends. The machine stands on two welded steel supports. Shipping weight is 1100 kg.
Supplied with both supports, complete counterweight assemblies, handles, stop rod, hardware, wrench and the operating manual.
