JET DDS-237-T Double-drum sander

The JET DDS-237-T is a double drum sander for joinery shops, furniture making and workshops in continuous commercial use. It is intended for sanding wood and wood substitutes, and with two drums arranged one behind the other, coarse and fine sanding are carried out in one pass. Wet sanding is not intended.

The 400 V three-phase motor with 5.5 kW (S1) drives the two 2 × 152 × 940 mm sanding drums at 1400 rpm. The steel drums are hard-rubber coated, and the rear drum can be adjusted independently. A separate feed motor and two-stage gearbox provide 2 or 3 m/min, and workpieces of 0.8 – 133 mm thickness and at least 230 mm length can be processed.

The cast iron conveyor bed is guided on four spindles, and a digital height display shows the set dimension. Dust is extracted via 2 × Ø 100 mm. Supplied with enclosed base cabinet, two mounted sanding belts grit 80 and 100, height crank and gearbox shift lever.
