JET JOSS-S-M Oscillating spindle sander

The JET JOSS-S-M is a oscillating spindle sander with base cabinet for joinery shops, workshops, model making and schools. It is intended for sanding wood and similar materials, especially inside and outside curves, arcs and shaped edges. Wet sanding is not intended.

The 230 V motor with 0.75 kW turns the spindle at 1400 rpm and moves it up and down at 60 /min with a stroke of 38 mm. The stroke movement uses the full sleeve, which extends its service life and reduces sanding marks. Baffles form a chamber under the table through which dust is extracted. The 623 × 623 mm cast iron table tilts 45° front / 15° back with a 90° detent. A spindle lock makes changing spindles and sleeves easier, and accessories are stored in the base cabinet.

The sanding sleeves are 150 – 230 mm long. Supplied with spindles, rubber drums and sleeves from Ø 6 to Ø 100 mm (grit 100), six table inserts and service tools. Dust is extracted via a Ø 100 mm port.
