The JET JWDS-2244OSC-M is an oscillating drum sander for thicknessing and finish sanding of wood. Drum motor 1.3 kW, sanding width 560 mm (open-end design) and stock thickness up to 102 mm.

Overview
The JET JWDS-2244OSC-M is an oscillating drum sander for joinery shops, workshops and schools. It is intended for sanding wood and similar materials, for example levelling glued-up panels, sizing strips and panels or sanding thin parts from 0.8 mm. Wet sanding is not intended.
The 1.3 kW drum motor (230 V) drives the Ø 127 × 584 mm sanding drum at 1400 rpm. A separate feed motor moves the conveyor belt at a variable speed of 0 – 3 m/min. The SandSmart control monitors the drum motor load and adjusts the feed rate automatically to avoid overloading. Drum oscillation is variable within 0 – 120 /min with a stroke of 19 mm, which reduces sanding marks and burn marks and extends abrasive life.
The sanding width is 560 mm in one pass, and the open-end design allows widths up to 1120 mm in two passes. The drum is raised and lowered by a crank at 1.6 mm per turn. The parallelism of the conveyor table is adjustable. Supplied with a mounted grit 80 abrasive, the height crank and a base cabinet on wheels.
