Overview
The Baileigh AP-3R is an arbor press for workshops, maintenance and training. It is used to press bearings, bushings and pins in and out and for simple straightening and assembly work. The press has no motor, the force is transmitted to the ram via the handle and rack.
The maximum capacity is 2.7 t. The ram measures 38 × 38 mm, the throat depth is 127 mm and workpieces up to 279 mm high can be accommodated. The ram travels 152 mm per revolution.
With the ratchet, the ram is lowered step by step using the handle and raised again with the hand wheel. The rotating bottom die plate offers four slot widths. Side play and ram pressure can be set with adjusting bolts.
Supplied with the press base plus gear shaft, long handle, hand wheel and ratchet arm for assembly, and the operating manual with parts list.
