Overview
The Baileigh AP-3R combines a rigid cast-iron frame with precise manual control. Its ratchet lever provides controlled force application, while the handwheel allows rapid ram positioning as well as small, delicate setup movements. A solid case-hardened square ram and a machined four-position die plate support accurate, repeatable work. With a 127 mm throat depth (5 in.) and a maximum material height of 279 mm (11 in.), the press is suited to fitting and removing components, riveting, assembly and broaching in fabrication and machine shops.
