Incorrect readings can cause wrong machine settings and workpiece damage. Check plausibility before each operation and never reach into moving mechanisms.
Switch off, isolate and disconnect the machine before installation or adjustment. Fit the indicator only to the expressly listed JPT series. Check that the set-screw mounting is secure and calibrate the indicator against a suitable reference after installation. Do not use a damaged housing or stiff mechanism.
