Overview
The Baileigh BB-2416E is a hand-operated box and pan brake for sheet metal work in workshops, trades, metal fabrication and training. It bends mild steel up to 1.52 mm and stainless steel up to 0.912 mm over a bending length of 610 mm in a range of 0 – 135°. The machine has no motor, the bend is made by raising the bending leaf by hand.
The clamping leaf carries 5 removable fingers. Together with a box depth of 30 mm this allows pans, boxes, channels, angles and other closed shapes to be formed. The minimum reverse bend is 16 mm.
An adjustable counterweight assists in raising the bending leaf and is balanced to the material thickness. The clamping leaf with the fingers holds the material in position during bending. The machine is mounted on a bolted floor stand. Shipping weight is 85 kg.
Supplied with counterweight, stand parts with hardware and the operating manual.
