Baileigh BB-4012F box and pan brake

The Baileigh BB-4012F is a manually operated box and pan brake for sheet metal work in workshops, trades, metal fabrication and training. It bends mild steel up to 2.65 mm and stainless steel up to 1.52 mm over a bending length of 1016 mm in a range of 0 – 135°. The machine has no motor, the bend is made by raising the bending leaf by hand.

The clamping leaf carries removable fingers. Together with a box depth of 63.5 mm this allows pans, boxes, channels, angles and other closed shapes to be formed.

The clamping leaf is closed and opened with a foot pedal (lift up to 47 mm), leaving both hands free for the workpiece and bending leaf. Clamping pressure and set-back are adjusted to the material thickness with adjustment knobs, a crowning adjustment ensures an even bend over the full length and a counterbalance arm assists in lifting the bending leaf. Shipping weight is 320 kg.
