Overview
The Baileigh DP-1000E is a floor drill press for drilling work in workshops, metal fabrication, maintenance and training. A 0.37 kW (0.5 HP) motor drives the spindle via a micro poly-V belt in 5 steps from 250 to 2900 rpm, the speed is changed under a removable belt cover.
Drilling capacity is 25.4 mm, the MT2 spindle is fitted with a 1 – 16 mm (B16) keyless chuck. The quill has a diameter of 50.8 mm and 100 mm travel, a depth stop limits the drilling depth. The swing is 387 mm, spindle to table distance 140 – 850 mm.
The table (318 × 318 mm, two T-slots) is raised by a crank over 762 mm and rotates through 360°, the base also offers a 600 × 385 mm work surface with T-slots. Table, base and head are cast iron, the column is steel tube (Ø 80 mm). A chuck guard with safety interlock and an emergency stop button are fitted. Net weight is 123 kg, the operating manual is included.
