JET AFS-1000B-M air filtration system with remote control

The JET AFS-1000B-M filters airborne wood dust created by sawing, sanding and turning that is not captured by the dust extraction at the machine. It is intended for medium-sized workshop rooms and runs in the background while work continues. The unit is not designed for damp environments or potentially explosive rooms.

A 0.15 kW blower draws in the room air and passes it through two filter stages: an electrostatic outer filter with 5 micron and a washable inner filter with 1 micron. This retains 98 % of dust particles down to 5 micron and 85 % down to 1 micron. The air flow can be set in three stages to 12 / 15 / 20 m³/min.

The infrared remote control selects blower speed and running time, with programmable periods of 2 / 4 / 8 hours. The unit can be suspended from the ceiling with the supplied eye bolts and mounting brackets or placed on a workbench. The delivery includes both filters, the remote control with batteries and the mounting hardware.

Compatibility

Compatible accessories: 708731 outer filter, 708734 activated-carbon outer filter and 708733 washable inner filter. HEPA H13 upgrade: 708730H13 with 708730H13-1 magnetic holder set and 7087310 prefilter set. The HEPA system is an alternative filter concept and, according to its documentation, must not be used simultaneously with 708733 or 708734.

Product safety

• Before each use, inspect the unit, filters, covers, switches, power cord and mounting
• do not operate damaged or incomplete equipment.
• Do not use in damp or wet conditions, below 0 °C, in explosive atmospheres or near flammable liquids or gases. Do not filter vapours or smoke and never connect a machine directly to the air filtration unit.
• For wall or ceiling mounting, use only a building structure rated for at least 50 kg, never attach to drywall or suspended ceilings, and maintain at least 2.1 m clearance to the underside. Chains and ceiling hooks must safely carry the unit weight.
• Keep air paths clear and operate only with filters correctly fitted and covers closed. Never reach into the fan while it is running or coasting down.
• Before cleaning, maintenance or filter changes, switch off, unplug, wait for complete standstill and prevent unintentional restart. Wear suitable respiratory protection and minimise dust release when handling filters.
• Mains voltage and frequency must match the rating plate
