Overview
The JET JPT-8B-M is a compact jointer and thickness planer for workshops, construction sites, interior work and hobby use. It is intended for planing wood and wood-based materials, and metallic materials must not be machined. Weighing 28 kg, it can be used on the workbench or as a mobile machine.
The 230 V motor with an input power of 1500 W is fitted with overload protection. The cutterblock with 2 resharpenable HSS knives runs at 9000 rpm, giving 18000 cuts per minute. Jointing and thicknessing are possible up to 200 mm width, and the thicknessing capacity is 5 – 120 mm at a feed rate of 6 m/min.
The jointer table is 740 mm long, and the fence (540 × 105 mm) tilts from 0° – 45°. The cast aluminium thicknessing table is adjusted on a 4-column guide. Supplied with jointing fence, cutter guard, thicknessing table extension, dust port with adapter, two push handles, height crank, knife setting gauge and rubber feet.
