Overview
The JET JTS-600XL-M is a panel saw for joinery shops, workshops, trades and schools. It is intended for sawing wood, wood-based materials and hard plastics, and metal must not be cut. Using the sliding table, panels and workpieces up to 1600 mm long can be edged and cut to size.
The 230 V single-phase motor with 1.5 kW drives saw blades up to 250 mm diameter at 4000 rpm. The cutting height is 80 / 54 mm at 90° / 45°, and the blade tilts within 90° – 45°. Ripping widths up to 610 mm are possible at the rip fence. Height and tilt are set with large cast iron handwheels.
The precision-ground cast iron table measures 800 × 350 mm. The sliding table made of extruded, anodised aluminium has a stroke of 1700 mm, and the rip fence with micro-adjustment runs on a round bar. Supplied with stand, sliding table 1600 × 240 mm, two support legs, outrigger table 460 × 600 mm with crosscut fence extendable to 2200 mm, table extension, rear table extension, rip fence, blade guard, a saw blade and the dust port.
