Overview
The JET JWP-12-M is a portable thickness planer for workshops, construction sites, interior work and hobby use. It is used to bring pre-planed or jointed wooden boards and strips to a uniform thickness. Weighing 27 kg, it can be carried by its handles and fixed to a workbench or stand.
The 230 V motor with 2000 W is fitted with overload protection. The cutterblock with 2 resharpenable HSS knives runs at 9000 rpm, giving 18000 cuts per minute. The planing width is 318 mm and the thicknessing capacity 6 – 153 mm with a maximum depth of cut of 2.5 mm. The feed runs at 7 m/min.
The cutterhead is height-adjusted on a 4-column guide. The cast aluminium table has a stainless steel surface, and the folding table extensions with support rollers support long workpieces. Supplied with dust port, height crank, knife setting gauge and rubber feet.
