Overview
The JET OES-80CS-T is an oscillating edge sander for joinery shops, furniture making, interior fitting and schools. It is intended for sanding wood and wood substitutes, especially straight edges, surfaces and inside curves down to a radius of 55 mm. Wet sanding is not intended.
The 400 V three-phase motor with 1.5 kW drives the 150 × 2260 mm sanding belt at 16 m/s. In addition, the belt oscillates at 108 /min with a stroke of 13 mm, which reduces sanding marks and burn marks. The sanding unit swivels by 90°, and the sanding angle can be set freely between horizontal and vertical. The full belt width can be used.
At the sanding stop, workpieces up to 830 × 140 mm can be sanded. The height-adjustable work table measures 810 × 180 mm. An extension table (250 × 300 mm) supports curved workpieces. Supplied with enclosed stand, outrigger table, horizontal fence, sanding stop, mitre gauge, one sanding belt and the guards.
