Overview
The PROMAC MDA-100S is designed for professional drilling in materials with a magnetisable surface, for example in metal construction, assembly and maintenance. It drills with annular cutters Ø 12 – 100 mm and twist drills Ø 1 – 31.75 mm. Milling is possible in the range Ø 10 – 105 mm, tapping in the range M3 – M30. The machine can be used horizontally, vertically and overhead.
The motor rated at 1800 W runs on 220 – 240 V, 50 – 60 Hz. 4 gear stages provide no-load speeds of 40 – 110 / 65 – 180 / 140 – 380 / 220 – 610 rpm and load speeds of 85 / 152 / 270 / 480 rpm. Forward and reverse rotation are provided. The tool holder is MT3, Weldon arbor 19.05 mm (3/4 in) and the stroke is 260 mm.
The magnetic base measuring 220 × 110 × 64 mm achieves an adhesion force of 2500 kg, and an LED indicator shows the magnet status. The scope of delivery includes guard, three feed handles, hex keys, coolant lubrication system, safety chain and operating manual, plus MT3 – Weldon arbor with lubrication ring, locking pin and drift key.
