Overview
The PROMAC MDA-50S is designed for professional drilling in materials with a magnetisable surface, for example in metal construction, assembly and maintenance. It drills with annular cutters Ø 12 – 50 mm and twist drills Ø 1 – 20 mm. Milling is possible in the range Ø 10 – 50 mm. The machine can be used horizontally, vertically and overhead.
The motor rated at 1200 W runs on 220 – 240 V AC, 50 – 60 Hz. 2 gear stages provide no-load speeds of 380 / 690 rpm and load speeds of 235 / 425 rpm. The tool holder is Weldon 19.05 mm (3/4 in) and the stroke is 170 mm.
The magnetic base measuring 168 × 84 × 49 mm achieves an adhesion force of 1600 kg, and an LED indicator shows the magnet status. The machine is suitable for steel from 5 mm thickness with the magnet in full contact. The scope of delivery includes guard, three feed handles, hex keys, coolant lubrication system, safety chain and operating manual.

WARNING: Entanglement, cutting and crushing hazards at the rotating spindle and tool. Clamp the workpiece firmly, remove the chuck key and fully disconnect from the mains before any intervention.

Never remove or bypass guards. • Clamp the workpiece securely; remove the chuck key before starting, keep hands away from the spindle and tool, and remove chips only at standstill using a suitable aid.
