Overview
The Tool France TFC-50S is a drill with vacuum base for flat, dry and non-magnetic surfaces, for example aluminium or stainless steel, in metal fabrication and assembly work. It is used with annular cutters, twist drills, reamers and countersinks, horizontally or on slight inclines and in a weather-protected environment.
The 220 – 240 V motor with 1250 W drives the spindle through a two-speed gearbox at 380 and 690 rpm no-load. Annular cutters are used from Ø 12 – 30 mm in steel and Ø 12 – 50 mm in other metals and plastics, twist drills up to Ø 13 mm in steel. The tool holder is MT3 with a 19.05 mm Weldon adapter.
The 300 × 140 mm vacuum base provides 300 kg holding force, and the vacuum pump is integrated. One LED shows whether the vacuum is sufficient, another reports carbon brush wear. The machine weighs 10.7 kg and is delivered in a case with three handles, hex keys, safety chain, cutting paste, MT3 arbor, drift key, ear protection, safety glasses, gloves and operating manual.

WARNING: Risk of falling, crushing and cutting if vacuum adhesion is insufficient or while the cutter is rotating. Clean the contact surface, verify vacuum before drilling and disconnect the machine from the power supply before changing cutters.
Product safety – TOOL FRANCE TFC-50S Vacuum-base Core Drill. Use only for its intended purpose and within the limits specified in the original operating instructions. Operation is restricted to trained adults. Before each use, inspect the machine, guards, controls and power connection; do not operate damaged or incomplete equipment. Ensure stable installation, a clear and well-lit work area and the power supply stated on the rating plate. Before adjustment, cleaning or maintenance, switch off, disconnect the machine from the power supply and wait until all movement has stopped. Wear close-fitting clothing and suitable eye and hearing protection; remove jewellery and secure long hair. Never remove or bypass guards. Use only on clean, flat and non-porous surfaces. Verify adequate vacuum before starting and provide secondary securing whenever loss of adhesion could cause injury or damage.
