Overview

The Tool France TFS-225DGSVI is designed for sawing round, square and profile metal stock in workshops, metal fabrication and production. The 400 V three-phase motor with 1.1 kW drives the 2455 × 27 × 0.9 mm blade, and the blade speed is set steplessly between 20 and 85 m/min. The blade runs in ball-bearing blade guides, and coolant lubrication supplies the cutting zone.

At 0° the machine cuts round Ø 220 mm, square 210 mm and rectangular 260 × 90 mm. For mitre cuts the saw bow swivels up to 60° to the right and 45° to the left, and at 45° right the capacity is round Ø 150 mm and square 140 mm. The cutting cycle runs semi-automatically.

The quick-clamping vise opens to 260 mm. The machine measures 1800 × 1100 × 1700 mm and weighs 280 kg net. It is supplied with a sheet steel base, a bi-metal blade, service keys and the operating manual.

Wear close-fitting clothing and suitable eye and hearing protection; remove jewellery and secure long hair. Never remove or bypass guards. Clamp the workpiece securely, set the blade guides close to the workpiece and keep hands clear of the cutting line. Remove offcuts and swarf only after the blade has stopped. Do not cut magnesium.
