Overview
The PROMAC SX-818DV is designed for sawing machinable metals and plastics. It is suitable for workshops, metalworking and maintenance, and the work table height is 950 mm.
The 2.3 kW, 230 V DC motor is continuously variable, so the blade speed can be matched to the material between 30 and 80 m/min. At 0° the saw cuts round stock up to Ø 175 mm and rectangular sections up to 150 × 210 mm. The saw head swivels to 45° and 60° for mitre cuts.
The 20 mm blade runs in carbide guides, and the main body is a one-piece CNC-machined casting. The saw bow is fed by hand via a handle. A coolant system with a collecting tray under the work table holds the coolant. The saw is supplied with an operating manual and spare parts list.

Product safety – PROMAC SX-818DV metal bandsaw. • Use only as intended, within the documented performance limits and in accordance with the complete original documentation; operation is restricted to instructed adults. • Before each use, check the machine, mounting, guards, switching devices and power cable; do not operate damaged or incomplete products. • Ensure stable positioning, a clear work area, adequate lighting and the power supply specified on the rating plate; electrical work must be carried out only by qualified specialists. • Before setting up, changing tools, clearing faults, cleaning or maintenance, switch off, disconnect from the mains, wait for a complete stop and secure against restarting. • Wear close-fitting clothing, eye protection and suitable hearing protection; remove jewellery and secure long hair. Never remove or bypass guards. • Clamp the workpiece securely, correctly adjust guards and guides and keep hands out of the cutting line; remove offcuts only after a complete stop. Do not saw magnesium.
