Overview
The Baileigh BG-679-3PH is a belt grinder for deburring, dressing welds, chamfering and profile grinding of metal parts in metal fabrication, production and maintenance. A 3 kW (4 HP) three-phase motor drives the belt at 1200 m/min.
The machine uses 2000 × 152 mm belts. The contact wheel and the drive and alignment wheel each measure 250 × 152 mm. Grinding is done on the contact wheel as well as on the front and top work supports, belt tension is released with a lever and tracking is set with an adjuster.
A separate 0.55 kW blower motor extracts the grinding dust into a collection bag, a spark trap and an eye shield are fitted. An emergency stop button switches the machine off. Shipping weight is 130 kg, the operating manual is included.
