Overview
The Baileigh CS-315EU is a cold saw for clean, accurate cuts in solid stock, tube and profiles of metal in metal fabrication, maintenance and production. A 1.86 kW (2.5 HP) motor drives the Ø 315 × 2.5 mm blade (32 mm arbor) at 52 rpm. The saw head is lowered by hand as a pivot head.
The saw head swivels for miter cuts up to 45° left and right. At 90° the machine cuts round 88.9 mm, square 81.3 × 81.3 mm and rectangular 101.6 × 81.3 mm, at 45° round 88.9 mm and square 66 × 66 mm, in both solid stock and tube. The quick-action cam lock vise opens to 120 mm, slotting cuts are possible and a length stop up to 762 mm simplifies repeat cuts.
The coolant system with tank (5.7 l), pump (93 W), filter and hoses is housed in the stand. The vise table is at a height of 965 mm. A general-purpose starter blade and the operating manual are supplied. Net weight with stand is 177 kg.
