Overview
The JET JWS-34KX-M is a spindle moulder for joinery shops, workshops and schools. It is intended for shaping wood and wood-based materials, with typical tasks such as profiling, rebating, grooving and curved work. Metallic materials must not be machined.
The 230 V single-phase motor with 1.5 kW drives the 30 mm spindle via poly-V belt. Four speeds of 1700 / 3500 / 6000 / 8000 rpm are selected by moving the belt. The spindle has a vertical travel of 80 mm, and tools up to 180 mm in diameter can be used. A spindle lock makes tool changes easier.
The precision-ground cast iron table measures 635 × 600 mm. With the 8 and 12 mm collets, router bits can also be used, and with JET JOSS-S sanding sleeves the machine can sand curved parts. Supplied with shaper fence, guard with side and top pressure shoes, curved work fence, mitre gauge and push stick.
