TOOL FRANCE TFS-270DGSVI Variable-speed Metal Band Saw

The Tool France TFS-270DGSVI is designed for sawing metal materials of various shapes and profiles in workshops, turning shops and general structural and mechanical work. The 400 V three-phase motor with 1.5 kW drives the 27 × 0.9 × 3160 mm blade, and the blade speed is set between 20 and 85 m/min via a frequency inverter and shown on a display.

At 0° the cutting capacity is round Ø 265 mm, square 260 mm and rectangular 350 × 220 mm. Mitre cuts are possible up to 60° right and 45° left. The saw frame is lowered and raised hydraulically, and the descent rate is adjusted to the material with a regulator. After the cut the saw bow returns to its top position automatically.

The hydraulic vise with 355 mm opening closes by up to 8 mm automatically during the cycle and opens again at the end, so identical parts can be reloaded without clamping by hand each time. The cycle is started either from the control panel or with the foot switch. Indicator lights report blade breakage, an open blade cover and motor overload, among others. The net weight is 460 kg, and the scope of delivery includes the sheet-steel stand, a bi-metal blade 3160 × 27 × 0.9 mm, material stop, roller support, service tools and the operating manual.
