Overview
The Baileigh BSV-16 is a vertical band saw for contour and straight cuts in workshops, metal fabrication, maintenance and training. It is driven by a 0.56 kW (0.75 HP) motor for 230 V, 50 Hz, 1 phase.
The throat is 386 mm and the maximum workpiece height 388 mm. The saw takes blades of 3420 mm length, 6 to 16 mm width and 0.8 mm thickness. The table measures 603 × 552 mm and tilts 10° front and back as well as 15° left and right, so bevel cuts are also possible.
Shipping weight is 410 kg. The operating manual is included.

Rotating or cutting parts: entanglement, cutting, impact and workpiece-ejection hazards. Observe chips, sparks, dust and noise. Trained operators only; never exceed rated capacities.
Install the machine securely and operate it in accordance with the manual. Clamp the workpiece and tool correctly, use all guards and check the work area before starting. Wear eye or face protection, hearing protection and respiratory protection where required. Keep loose clothing, jewellery and long hair away from rotating parts. Switch off, isolate all energy sources and wait for a complete stop before setup, cleaning, fault removal or tool changes.
