Overview
The Baileigh BSV-20VS-1PH is a vertical band saw for contour, straight and internal cuts in metal in tool and die making, metal fabrication, maintenance and training. Two speed ranges with variable control (20 – 85 and 120 – 500 m/min) and a speed display allow adaptation to material and blade width.
The throat is 520 mm, maximum cutting height 310 mm. The saw takes blades of 3880 mm length and 3 to 16 mm width. The work table measures 600 × 500 mm and tilts 15° left and right.
The integrated blade welder with shear and grinder allows blades to be butt welded and annealed at the machine, for example for internal cuts. Work lights illuminate the cutting area and the weld station, an air tube keeps the cut free of chips. Shipping weight is 510 kg, the operating manual is included.

Rotating or cutting parts: entanglement, cutting, impact and workpiece-ejection hazards. Observe chips, sparks, dust and noise. Trained operators only; never exceed rated capacities.
Install the machine securely and operate it in accordance with the manual. Clamp the workpiece and tool correctly, use all guards and check the work area before starting. Wear eye or face protection, hearing protection and respiratory protection where required. Keep loose clothing, jewellery and long hair away from rotating parts. Switch off, isolate all energy sources and wait for a complete stop before setup, cleaning, fault removal or tool changes.
