Baileigh MSS-16F shrinker stretcher

The Baileigh MSS-16F is a shrinker / stretcher for forming radii and curves in sheet metal, for example in vehicle bodywork, restoration and sheet metal fabrication. Shrinker jaws form outside radii, stretcher jaws form inside radii. It handles mild steel up to 1.5 mm and aluminium up to 1.6 mm, the minimum forming radius is 25.4 mm.

The unit stands on its own frame and is operated by a foot pedal, so both hands guide the workpiece. Forming pressure is controlled by pedal travel. Throat depth is 153 mm, dimensions are 920 × 410 × 1175 mm. The machine has no motor.

One set each of shrinker and stretcher jaws is supplied together with the operating manual. Jaws not in use are stored in the holder on the machine.
