Overview
The Baileigh PL-1236E-DRO is a lathe for turning work in workshops, maintenance and training. A 1.1 kW motor for 230 V, 50 Hz, 1 phase drives the spindle (D1-4 nose, MT5 taper, 38 mm bore) in 9 steps from 70 to 1400 rpm. A digital readout makes it easier to read the slide positions.
Swing is 305 mm over the bed, 194 mm over the cross slide and 431 mm in the gap, distance between centres 914 mm with a bed width of 181 mm. The compound slide travels 83 mm, the cross slide 135 mm, the tool post takes tools up to 16 × 16 mm. The tailstock quill has a diameter of 32 mm, 101 mm travel and MT3 taper.
Shipping weight is 560 kg. The operating manual is included.
