Overview
The PROMAC 917M is used for cutting metal components of various profiles and shapes as commonly used in workshops, turning shops and steel construction. The machine is operated by one person.
The 0.75 kW blade motor is connected to 230 V and drives the 2360 × 19 × 0.9 mm blade. Four blade speeds of 22, 33, 45 and 65 m/min are available. At 90° the saw cuts round stock up to Ø 180 mm and rectangular sections up to 180 × 250 mm, at 45° round stock up to Ø 105 mm.
The saw bow is lowered hydraulically, and a 0.1 kW coolant pump supplies coolant to the cutting point. The machine is supplied with an operating manual.

Product safety – PROMAC 917M metal bandsaw. • Use only as intended, within the documented performance limits and in accordance with the complete original documentation; operation is restricted to instructed adults. • Before each use, check the machine, mounting, guards, switching devices and power cable; do not operate damaged or incomplete products. • Ensure stable positioning, a clear work area, adequate lighting and the power supply specified on the rating plate; electrical work must be carried out only by qualified specialists. • Before setting up, changing tools, clearing faults, cleaning or maintenance, switch off, disconnect from the mains, wait for a complete stop and secure against restarting. • Wear close-fitting clothing, eye protection and suitable hearing protection; remove jewellery and secure long hair. Never remove or bypass guards. • Clamp the workpiece securely, correctly adjust guards and guides and keep hands out of the cutting line; remove offcuts only after a complete stop. Do not saw magnesium.
