Overview
The PROMAC SY-225V-CH is a compact metal cold saw for workshops, locksmithing and metal construction and is suited to lighter workpieces. It weighs 20 kg and is operated by one person.
The 1.5 kW saw motor is connected to 230 V, and the cutting speed is continuously variable from 17.5 to 60 m/min. Blades up to Ø 235 mm are used. At 90° the saw cuts solid stock up to Ø 30 mm, tubes up to Ø 67 mm and rectangular sections up to 70 × 55 mm. At 45° tubes up to Ø 60 mm and square stock up to 60 × 60 mm can be cut.
The vice opens to 75 mm. A 14 W coolant pump with 1.5 l coolant capacity supplies the cutting point. Supplied with a stop and the operating manual.

Product safety – PROMAC SY-225V-CH metal circular saw. • Use only as intended, within the documented performance limits and in accordance with the complete original documentation; operation is restricted to instructed adults. • Before each use, check the machine, mounting, guards, switching devices and power cable; do not operate damaged or incomplete products. • Ensure stable positioning, a clear work area, adequate lighting and the power supply specified on the rating plate; electrical work must be carried out only by qualified specialists. • Before setting up, changing tools, clearing faults, cleaning or maintenance, switch off, disconnect from the mains, wait for a complete stop and secure against restarting. • Wear close-fitting clothing, eye protection and suitable hearing protection; remove jewellery and secure long hair. Never remove or bypass guards. • Clamp the workpiece securely, correctly adjust guards and guides and keep hands out of the cutting line; remove offcuts only after a complete stop. Do not saw magnesium.
